The Art of Bahaa Girgis

Bahaa Girgis has a Doctorate in Fine Arts, and began work as an art professor in 1967.He has had many exhibitions, and has won numerous awards as a artist.

“The main objective for my art is to bring out the three dimentional abstract side of nature. I also like to focus on the colors and the mood of my subject. My paintings are mainly in acrylic and some are enhanced with airbrush. They are an evolution of multi- layered applications of various materials. The work is done with the strong belief that all art is a vision penetrating the illusion of reality. I try to express my reactions to the world around me. The pieces flow with their own energies and inner relationships and are filled with the tapestry of my experiences, both personal and universal.”
